The Creative Europe Desk Greece participated in the IETM Network Belgrade Plenary Meeting 2022, from 29.9.2022 to 1.10.2022.
In the conference entitled “Work Hard, Live Harder”, hundreds of representatives from cultural organisations from all over Europe attended. Issues such as the formation of a cultural and artistic project in a rural area, the new trends in the performing arts and especially in dance, as well as the connection of culture to the environment and green development, were some of the main topics of the Conference.
The “Creative Europe Workshop: Insight and In-depth” was particularly important. The workshop was jointly organised and presented by the Creative Europe Desks of Serbia, Greece, the Netherlands, Slovakia and Latvia. Participation in the workshop exceeded all expectations.
The presentation was about the Creative Europe Programme 2021-2027, with a particular emphasis on the Cooperation Projects call. Representatives of three important projects from Serbia, Hungary and Slovenia also spoke at the workshop. The representatives of the organisations analysed their actions and focused on the great advantages of their participation in a transnational cooperation project.
In the second part of the workshop, there was a detailed discussion. The representatives of the Desks discussed and answered dozens of questions raised by representatives of cultural organisations from all over Europe. The representatives of the cultural organisations put special emphasis on how they can participate in transnational cooperation projects, how they can find partners from other countries and if their ideas can be part of a cooperation plan.
The participation of the Greek Desk in this workshop was significant, as there were several institutions that expressed interest in finding a partner from Greece.
