European Premiere of the Digital Filmed Performance ‘The Trojan Women’

THEAMA – Inclusive Theatre Greece / Teatr Grodzki Poland / Teatro Gato Escaldado Portugal cordially invite you to the European Premiere of the Digital Filmed Performance ‘The Trojan Women’ on Sunday December 3rd 2023,  World Disability Day.

The premier will take place in three locations –

ATHENS – at the Greek Film Archives cinema, on Iera Odos 48 & Megalou Alexandrou 134-136 in Kerameikos, Athens AT 1200 noon. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the audience on ‘Visibility in Arts’.

BIELSKO-BIALE – at the auditorium of the school named after Mikolaj Rey at the street. A. Frycza-Modrzewski 12 in Bielsko-Biała, Poland at 1600

LISBON – at the José de Castro Municipal Auditorium, in Paço de Arcos, Portugal  at 18:00.

This film, through an adaptation of Euripides’ play to the present day, and from an inclusive cast, will address the repercussions of war, gender violence, femicide, and sexual harassment.

The Digital Filmed Performance is a co-production of THEAMA, Inclusive Theatre (Greece), Teatr Grodzki (Poland) and Teatro Gato Escaldado (Portugal), within the framework of the Creative Europe co-funded project D.I.V.A – Diversity, Inclusion and Visibility in Arts.

Duration: 1hour 18 minutes

Greek/English/Polish/Portuguese subtitles are available.

The entrance is FREE in all cities.
