The “Circulation of European Literary Works” Call is now open for submission

The call for the “Circulation of European Literary Works” opened on March 1, with a deadline for applications of 31 May 2022.

The total budget of the action is 5 million euros and is expected to finance 40 projects that will concern the translation of literary works.

Each proposed project should include at least five eligible literary works. It should also include all the stages of production and marketing of the book: (1) translation, (2) publishing, (3) promotion and (4) distribution of the literary works proposed in the project for translation.

Project budget (maximum grant amount):
• small-scale : projects proposing translation of at least 5 books can request up to EUR 100 000;
• medium-scale : projects proposing translation of at least 11 books can request up to EUR 200 000;
• large scale : projects proposing translation of at least 21 books can request up to EUR 300 000.
The grant awarded may be lower than the amount requested.
The grant will be a lump sum grant. This means that it will reimburse a fixed amount, based on a lump sum or financing not linked to costs. The amount will be fixed by the granting authority on the basis of the estimated project budget and a funding rate of 60%
