CED’s Greece holds a two-day event in Lesvos island (16 & 17 April 2019) – Register invitation

The Creative Europe Desk Greece holds a two-day event on the island of Lesvos, in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Lesvos (EFA) and the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP).

The seminar will be held on Tuesday , April 16, and Wednesday, April 17, 2019, entitled “Culture and Opportunities for Funding through European Programs”.

The Creative Europe Desk Greece, subject to the Directorate for International Relations and EU of the Ministry of Culture and Sport / EU Department, is the coordinating body for the promotion of the European Commission’s Creative Europe 2014-2020 financial program.

The purpose of the two-day event is to inform the cultural and creative institutions of the North Aegean Region about the funding opportunities both from the Creative Europe Program and from other European funding programs.

During the first day (16/4) of the two-day event, it will be held a meeting of Cultural and Creative Organizations of Lesvos, at the Museum of Industrial Olive Oil Production of Lesvos of the Pieraus Bank Group Cultural Foundation in Agia Paraskevi.

On the second day (17/4), will take place a presentation of the European programs that finance Culture and general actions at the Archaeological Museum of Mytilene. For this reason, representatives of the major European programs such as ERASMUS +, URBACT, LIFE, COSME, Horizon 2020, Europe for Citizens and EaSI have been invited.
