The Creative Europe Desk of Greece, which belongs to the European Union Department of the Directorate of International Relations and E.U. of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Municipality of Piraeus, are organizing on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11.00 am, an informative event at the Municipal Art Gallery of Piraeus (Filonos 29), on the subject:
“Local Societies and Culture – The Creative Europe Programme”
The objective of the event is to inform institutions, as well as individuals active in various cultural and creative sectors, about the funding opportunities and financial tools available within the framework of the European program Creative Europe.
The Creative Europe Program is the only European funding program exclusively for the cultural and creative sector. It creates new opportunities as well as possibilities for cultural operators.
However, the development of the cultural sector is something that, at the same time, is of wider interest to the local community. The cultural sector strengthens the entire local economy. Thus, it can also become a driver of local development.
In this context, the main invitations of the Creative Europe, Culture and MEDIA Program will be presented. In particular:
The Transnational Cooperation Projects (Cooperation Projects) and how a successful application can be made.
The call for Literary Translation, which primarily concerns publishing organizations.
The MEDIA sub-programme, which deals with audiovisual media.
Projects implemented within the framework of the Program.
Pre-registration is required for your participation in the workshop.
